Slumber Zzzoofari Parties
Celebrate a birthday in the wild of Sunset Zoo! Trained Sunset Zoo staff guide this overnight sleepover featuring a behind-the-scenes animal program, night hike around the Zoo, and themed activities.
Your overnight party will begin at 7 pm and end at 9 am the following day. Groups must bring their own tents for sleeping, as sleeping locations are outside on grassy areas within Zoo grounds.
Slumber Zzzoofari Birthday Parties include:
Guests sleep outside in a grassy area either along the Zoo's African Forest Trail or near the Pavilion. Bathrooms are available throughout the Zzzoofari, but bathrooms do not contain shower facilities. For groups with younger participants, the sleeping near the Pavilion is recommended as that location is closer to bathrooms. Guests should bring tents, sleeping bag, pillow, personal toiletries and lots of enthusiasm. Indoor sleeping is not available; cancelation due to inclement weather (rain, thunderstorms, etc.) can be initiated by either Sunset Zoo or your group.
A Zoo overnight is $600 per group (up to 15 people). Additional guests are $40 each. If your group includes children, at least one adult chaperone needs to accompany the group throughout the overnight. Adult chaperones apply towards the group total; either as one of the 15 included in the package or if your party is greater than 15 people, two chaperones will be admitted free and each additional chaperone will be charged the regular $40/person rate.
Two weeks advance notice is required to book; subject to availability. A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a date and applies towards the final party cost. To book your Slumber Zzzoofari Birthday Party, contact Tammy Jones by email or call 785-587-2737.

What's Included
- Exclusive, overnight access to Sunset Zoo
